This home on Blackrock Circle was a complete remodel, double addition, and new garage build we wrapped up just before Christmas 2023. The result is a cozy, private ski lodge for some incredible clients that have been a real joy to work with. You won’t believe the transformation!

The final result of this home is unbelievable, and just in time for Christmas! Since Thanksgiving, we’ve finished the flooring, installed light fixtures, finished up the paints and stains, and put all the final touches on this remodel and new garage build. We even got a sneak peak at the homeowners’ furnishings and decorations. It’s hard to imagine a cozier spot to spend a Christmas break.

The finishes are really coming together! Drywall is up, kitchen cabinets and countertops are installed, and appliances are in place. Outside, stonework is going up on the foundation, and the garage is nearing completion with drywall installed and finish work ready to begin.

The biggest highlight of this addition is the huge, covered porch with 4 skylights. The deck and most of the exterior work is finished. Drywall and insulation has begun on the house, and the garage is ready for siding and roof.

At the main house, framing is done for the additions, and the porches are almost complete. We added the cedar siding last fall, and we’ll finish the additions with the same to tie the whole project together. For the garage, the walls are up, and roof trusses are going on. Cranes always make things more exciting!

In addition to a complete interior renovation, we are adding two sizeable additions to this home: a new main entrance on the right side of the home, and an expansion out the back. Decks will be added to both! Up the hill, we are building a brand new garage with attached workshop and upstairs apartment for guests.

Fall 2022

You can’t enjoy the after without the before. We arrived at this home in Wintergreen Resort in desperate need of attention. This fall, we replaced all the windows and updated the siding on 3 sides with a beautiful rough cedar. Next summer, we will commence on interior renovations, 2 additions, and a new garage! Stay tuned.
